Frameless cabinets
A frameless cabinet has no face frame. Doors mount directly to the box, so the full interior width is accessible and adjacent doors read as one continuous plane. It is the construction behind the European kitchen look.
Frameless is a box construction choice, not a door style — but it changes both how the kitchen works and how it looks.

What are frameless cabinets?
Cabinets built without a face frame. The door mounts directly to the box edge, so nothing narrows the opening and the full interior width is usable. Also called European or full-access cabinetry.
Are frameless cabinets better than face-frame?
Neither is better outright. Frameless gives more interior access and a flush contemporary look. Face-frame gives a rigid opening that is easier to scribe against uneven walls, and suits traditional homes. The right choice depends on the house.
What does the IQ+ Frameless 2026 line include?
Four collections — Matte, Glass, Oak and High Glossy — on a 3/4" plywood box with a white melamine finish inside and out. It is the only IQ+ line with a dedicated glass-door wall cabinet group, and the Glass collection is wall cabinets only.

Frequently asked
Frameless cabinets — your questions answered
Do frameless cabinets need level walls?
They benefit from a truer install. A face frame gives more material to scribe against an out-of-square wall.
Is the Glass collection available in base cabinets?
No. Per the Frameless 2026 spec book, the Glass collection is available only in wall cabinets.
What is the frameless box made of?
3/4" plywood with a white melamine finish, inside and out, with matching melamine shelves and edge banding.
