Accessibility statement

The standard we aim for

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What has been built in

• Semantic HTML with landmark regions and a single H1 per page, with heading levels in order and none skipped.
• A "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Descriptive alternative text written from the actual content of each image.
• Form labels associated with every input, with errors announced to assistive technology and linked to the field they describe.
• Keyboard operability for navigation, the mega-menu, the multi-step form and the catalog tabs.
• Visible focus states, and interactive controls that expose their state (aria-pressed, aria-expanded, aria-current).
• Text sized in relative units so browser zoom and text scaling work.
• Wide tables scroll within their own container so the page never scrolls horizontally.

Known limitations

• The embedded Google Map on the contact and location pages is a third-party component whose accessibility we do not control. The same address, phone number and hours are always available as text next to it.
• Some project photography is decorative in context; alt text describes the room and location rather than every detail in the image.
